<em>My strength comes from you<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/cev\/psalms\/22.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CEV<\/a>); <em>You are my source of strength!<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/net\/psalms\/22.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NET<\/a>) and <em>You are my help<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/nheb\/psalms\/22.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NHEB<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/web\/psalms\/22.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WEB<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/drb\/psalms\/22.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Douay-Rheims Bible<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/lexicon\/h360\/kjv\/wlc\/0-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u05d0\u059c\u05b1\u05d9\u05b8\u05bd\u05dc\u05d5\u05bc\u05ea\u05b4\u0597\u05d9<\/a> (<em>&#8216;\u0115y\u0101l\u00fb\u1e6f<\/em>) was translated in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grammar-monster.com\/glossary\/accusative_case.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">accusative case<\/a> (<em>thy help<\/em>) not unlike the Septuagint: <em>But thou, O Lord, remove not thy help to a distance from me; rel=\"noopener\">\u05dc\u05b0\u05e2\u05b6\u05d6\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05a5\u05ea\u05b4\u05d9<\/a> (<em>\u02bfezr\u00e2<\/em>).\u00a0 Here, too, I find the first occurrence very instructive (Judges 5:23 NET).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Call judgment down on Meroz,\u2019 says the angel of the Lord; \u2018Be sure to call judgment down on those who live there, because they did not come to help <em>(<\/em>ezr\u00e2<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/lexicon\/h5833\/kjv\/wlc\/0-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u05dc\u05e2\u05d6\u05e8\u05ea<\/a>)<\/em> in the Lord\u2019s battle, to help <em>(<\/em>ezr\u00e2<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/lexicon\/h5833\/kjv\/wlc\/0-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u05dc\u05e2\u05d6\u05e8\u05ea<\/a>)<\/em> in the Lord\u2019s battle against the warriors.\u2019<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Jesus did not call on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/lexicon\/h3068\/kjv\/wlc\/0-1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/a> (<em>Y\u1d4ah\u014dv\u00e2<\/em>) to rescue Him from the cross, but to help Him endure <em>the Lord\u2019s<\/em> (<em>Y\u1d4ah\u014dv\u00e2<\/em>, \u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4) <em>battle <\/em>of the moment (Tanakh\/KJV: <em>to the help of the LORD against the anything to do with Jesus\u2019 crucifixion.\u00a0 But after nineteen verses that seem expressly written to give Him the words to pray, and after many years of making preventable errors studying in English translation only, I\u2019m willing to put some study time in on this one.\u00a0 The Greek word <a href=\"https:\/\/greekdoc.github.io\/lexicon\/ru.html#rusai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u1fe5\u1fe6\u03c3\u03b1\u03b9<\/a> (a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/greekdoc.github.io\/lexicon\/ru.html#ruomai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u1fe5\u03cd\u03bf\u03bc\u03b1\u03b9<\/a>), translated <em>Rescue <\/em>(NETS) and <em>Deliver <\/em>(English Elpenor) in the Septuagint above, occurs <a href=\"https:\/\/biblehub.com\/greek\/rusai_4506.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">twice<\/a>, and only twice in the same context of prayer in the New Testament, just to whet my appetite (Matthew 6:13; Luke 11:4 KJV):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And lead us not into temptation, but deliver <em>(\u03c1\u1fe6\u03c3\u03b1\u03b9)<\/em> us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2021\/09\/04\/funeral-part-3\/#_ftn7\">Amen<\/a>. <em>[<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2019\/06\/24\/a-shadow-of-the-good-things-part-1\/#_Table15\">Table<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. \u00a0And lead us not into temptation; but deliver <em>(\u03c1\u03c5\u03c3\u03b1\u03b9)<\/em> us from evil.<em><a
