I wrote (\u1f10\u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03b7\u03c3\u03ac\u03bc\u03b7\u03bd<\/a>, a form of \u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03ad\u03c9<\/a>)<\/em>\u00a0the former account, Theophilus, about all that Jesus began to do (\u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03b5\u1fd6\u03bd<\/a>, another form of \u03c0\u03bf\u03b9\u03ad\u03c9)\u00a0<\/em>and teach (\u03b4\u03b9\u03b4\u03ac\u03c3\u03ba\u03b5\u03b9\u03bd<\/a>, a form of \u03b4\u03b9\u03b4\u03ac\u03c3\u03ba\u03c9<\/a>) <\/em>until the day he was taken up to heaven, after he had given orders by the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. \u00a0To the same apostles also, after his suffering (\u03c0\u03b1\u03b8\u03b5\u1fd6\u03bd<\/a>, a form of \u03c0\u03ac\u03c3\u03c7\u03c9<\/a>)<\/em>, he presented himself alive with many convincing proofs.\u00a0 He was seen by them over a forty-day period and spoke about matters concerning the kingdom of God. \u00a0While he was with them, he declared, \u201cDo not leave Jerusalem, but wait there for what my Father promised (\u1f10\u03c0\u03b1\u03b3\u03b3\u03b5\u03bb\u03af\u03b1\u03bd<\/a>, a form of \u1f10\u03c0\u03b1\u03b3\u03b3\u03b5\u03bb\u03af\u03b1<\/a>)<\/em>, which you heard about from me. \u00a0For John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.\u201d<\/p>\n
