Paul apparently did his own translation part from the Hebrew and part from the Greek in Item #1.\u00a0 The Septuagint translates, In the day of vengeance I will recompense<\/em>, while the Hebrew translates, Vengeance is Mine, and retribution<\/em>, according to Bill Braun.1<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n

Item #2 is identical in the Septuagint, the parallel Greek text and the Hebrew, except for \u03c4\u03c1\u1f73\u03c6\u03b5<\/a>, a form of \u03c4\u03c1\u03ad\u03c6\u03c9<\/a> in the Septuagint where the parallel Greek text reads \u03c8\u03c9\u03bc\u03b9\u03b6\u03b5<\/a>, a form of \u03c8\u03c9\u03bc\u03af\u03b6\u03c9<\/a>.<\/p>\n
