Part 7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In another <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/06\/05\/who-am-i-part-6\/\">essay<\/a> I presented his Jewish and Roman trials as a kind of ultimate tempting of the flesh of Adam and an ultimate proving of the Holy Spirit which <em>descended<\/em>\u2026<em>in bodily form like a dove<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a> upon Jesus the Christ or Messiah.\u00a0 I characterized those trials as a time \u201cwhen sinners, Jerusalem, the whole world, perhaps even the created cosmos were in extreme danger of falling into the hands of an angry God.\u201d\u00a0 I want to continue with his crucifixion.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"_authority\"><\/a>Nail me to a cross and I\u2019m stuck there but Jesus said (John 10:17, 18 NET):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This is why the Father loves me \u2013 because I lay down my life, so that I may take it back again. \u00a0No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of my own free will.<em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a><\/em> \u00a0I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it back again. \u00a0This commandment I received from my Father.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It says to me that at any moment throughout his ordeal of ultimate humiliation Jesus, <em>y<sup>e<\/sup>h\u00f4v\u00e2h <\/em>in the flesh of Adam,<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a> could have decided that enough was enough, sat down at the right hand of his Father in heaven <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2021\/01\/12\/who-am-i-part-11\/#_endured\">and been none the worse for wear<\/a>\u2014personally.<\/p>\n<p><em>As they led him away<\/em>, Luke recorded in his Gospel narrative, <em>they seized Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the country.\u00a0 They placed the cross on his back and made him carry it behind Jesus<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 Matthew and Mark recorded the same incident.\u00a0 I might have assumed that He was too holy to carry his own cross except that John recalled Jesus <em>carrying his own cross <\/em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/John+19:16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">John 19:16, 17 NET<\/a>).\u00a0 Apparently the One who said, <em>If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me<\/em>,<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn5\"><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/a> was too <a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/1+Corinthians+15:43\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">weak<\/a> to carry his all the way to his crucifixion.<\/p>\n<p><em>Two other <\/em>(\u1f15\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf\u03b9, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-dictionary-3\/#_\u1f15\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf\u03c2\">\u1f15\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf\u03c2<\/a>) <em>criminals <\/em>(\u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03bf\u1fe6\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03b9, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-dictionary-3\/#_\u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03bf\u1fe6\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03c2\">\u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03bf\u1fe6\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03c2<\/a>) <em>were also led away to be executed with him<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn6\"><sup>[6]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 Isaiah had prophesied, <em>he was numbered with the transgressors<\/em>,<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn7\"><sup>[7]<\/sup><\/a> though <em>he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn8\"><sup>[8]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 But with the words \u1f15\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf\u03b9 \u03ba\u03b1\u03ba\u03bf\u1fe6\u03c1\u03b3\u03bf\u03b9 \u03b4\u1f7b\u03bf Luke captured (See: \u1f15\u03c4\u03b5\u03c1\u03bf\u03b9; <a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/Luke+11:15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Luke 11:15, 16<\/a>) the social reality of Jesus as one of three criminals condemned to death by the duly authorized governor of Judea.\u00a0 His punishment was neither cruel nor unusual under the prevailing standards of their <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/07\/27\/davids-forgiveness-part-2\/#_social\">socially constructed reality<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>A great number of the people followed him<\/em> (Luke 23:27-31 NET):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u2026<\/em>among them women who were mourning and wailing for him.\u00a0 But Jesus turned to them and said, \u201cDaughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.\u00a0 For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say, \u2018Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!\u2019\u00a0 Then they will begin to say to the mountains, \u2018Fall on us!\u2019 and to the hills, \u2018Cover us!\u2019\u00a0 For if such things are done when the wood is green, what will happen when it is dry?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>They came to a place called Golgotha (which means \u201cPlace of the Skull\u201d) and offered Jesus wine mixed with gall to drink.\u00a0 But after tasting it, he would not drink it<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn9\"><sup>[9]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 <em>There they crucified him along with two others, one on each side, with Jesus in the middle<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn10\"><sup>[10]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 But Jesus said, \u201c<em>Father, forgive<\/em> (\u1f04\u03c6\u03b5\u03c2, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-concordance\/#_\u1f00\u03c6\u03af\u03b7\u03bc\u03b9\">\u1f00\u03c6\u03af\u03b7\u03bc\u03b9<\/a>) <em>them, for they don\u2019t know what they are doing.\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn11\"><sup>[11]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jesus, naked<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn12\"><sup>[12]<\/sup><\/a> on the cross, looked down as the soldiers who crucified Him <em>took his clothes and made four shares, one for each soldier, and the tunic remained. (Now the tunic was seamless, woven from top to bottom as a single piece.)\u00a0 So the soldiers said to one another, \u201cLet\u2019s not tear it, but throw dice to see who will get it.\u201d \u00a0This took place to fulfill the scripture that says, \u201cThey divided my garments among them, and for my clothing they threw dice.\u201d\u00a0 So the soldiers did these things<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn13\"><sup>[13]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 David (<a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/1+Samuel+16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1 Samuel 16:1 \u2013 1 Kings 2:11<\/a>) had prophesied, <em>they look and stare upon me.\u00a0 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn14\"><sup>[14]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Then they sat down and kept guard over him there<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn15\"><sup>[15]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 <em>It was nine o\u2019clock in the morning when they crucified him<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn16\"><sup>[16]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 That would be the second morning since the night of his arrest with little or no sleep for Jesus.\u00a0 <em>The people also stood there watching, but the rulers ridiculed him, saying, \u201cHe saved others.\u00a0 Let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, his chosen one!\u201d\u00a0 The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine, and saying, \u201cIf you are the king of the Jews, save yourself!\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn17\"><sup>[17]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Pilate also had a notice written and fastened to the cross, which read: \u201cJesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews.\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn18\"><sup>[18]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 <em>Thus many of the Jewish residents of Jerusalem read this notice, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the notice was written in Aramaic <\/em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-dictionary-3\/#_\u1f19\u03b2\u03c1\u03b1\u03ca\u03c3\u03c4\u03af\">\u1f19\u03b2\u03c1\u03b1\u03ca\u03c3\u03c4\u1f77<\/a>; literally, <em>in Hebrew<\/em>; NET <a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/John+19:20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">note 67<\/a>)<em>, Latin, and Greek. \u00a0Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, \u201cDo not write, \u2018The king of the Jews,\u2019 but rather, \u2018This man said, I am king of the Jews.\u2019\u201d\u00a0 Pilate answered, \u201cWhat I have written, I have written.\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn19\"><sup>[19]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a id=\"_differently\"><\/a><em>Those who passed by defamed him, shaking their heads and saying, \u201cAha! \u00a0You who can destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself and come down from the cross!\u201d\u00a0 In the same way even the chief priests \u2013 together with the experts in the law \u2013 were mocking him among themselves: \u201cHe saved others, but he cannot save himself!\u00a0 Let the Christ, the king of Israel, come down from the cross now, that we may see and believe!\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn20\"><sup>[20]<\/sup><\/a> \u00a0<em>He trusts in God \u2013 let God, if he wants to, deliver him now because he said, \u2018I am God\u2019s Son\u2019!\u201d\u00a0 The robbers who were crucified with him also spoke abusively to him<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn21\"><sup>[21]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 <em>One of the criminals who was hanging there railed at him, saying, \u201cAren\u2019t you the Christ?\u00a0 Save yourself and us!\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn22\"><sup>[22]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the point in the story where I wished Jesus would come down from the cross as <em><a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/bible\/Matthew+26:53\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">more than twelve legions of angels<\/a> <\/em>came screaming out of the sky to the tune of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Richard_Wagner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wagner\u2019s<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=P73Z6291Pt8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ride of the Valkyries<\/a> to kill everyone who mocked Him. \u00a0Actually it is the ideal of the <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/19\/father-forgive-them-part-1\/#_definitions\">Sicarii<\/a>\u2014walking up to an \u201cenemy\u201d (anyone who disagrees with my \u201ctruth\u201d) plunging a long knife into him several times and melting away again into the crowd\u2014that appeals to the sin in my flesh more than the straight-up warfare of the Zealots. \u00a0Cowardice prevented me from ever actualizing the murderous intentions of my heart. \u00a0And until the moment that sentence formed in my mind I hadn&#8217;t thanked God for that fear. \u00a0All this may help explain why years of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/04\/22\/religious-and-righteous-prayer\/#_imitate\">imitating<\/a> the Pharisees felt like a step toward godliness to me.<\/p>\n<p><em>But the other<\/em> [criminal] <em>rebuked him<\/em> [the former criminal], <em>saying, \u201cDon\u2019t you fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?\u00a0 And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing wrong.\u201d\u00a0 Then he said, \u201cJesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.\u201d\u00a0 And Jesus said to him, \u201cI tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn23\"><sup>[23]<\/sup><\/a> as a <em>door of hope<\/em> opened (Hosea 2:14-17 Tanakh).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.\u00a0 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_ftn13\">valley of Achor<\/a> for a door of hope: and she shall <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_ftn14\">sing<\/a> there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table55\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.\u00a0 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD <em>(<\/em>y<sup>e<\/sup>h\u00f4v\u00e2h<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/hebrew-dictionary\/#_yeh\u00f4v\u00e2h\">\u05d9\u05d4\u05d5\u05d4<\/a>)<\/em>, that thou shalt call me Ishi <em>(<\/em>\u02bc\u0131\u0302ysh<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/hebrew-dictionary\/#_\u02bc\u0131\u0302ysh\">\u05d0\u05d9\u05e9\u05d9<\/a>)<\/em>; and shalt call me no more Baali <em>(<\/em>ba\u02bd\u0103l\u0131\u0302y<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/hebrew-dictionary\/#_ba\u02bd\u0103l\u0131\u0302y\">\u05d1\u05e2\u05dc\u05d9<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table57\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.\u00a0 For I will take away the names of Baalim <em>(<\/em>ba\u02bdal<em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/hebrew-dictionary\/#_ba\u02bdal\">\u05d4\u05d1\u05e2\u05dc\u05d9\u05dd<\/a>)<\/em> out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table59\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As confessions go, <em>And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did<\/em> is nothing compared to Achan\u2019s confession (Joshua 7:19-25 Tanakh)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/07\/06\/jedidiah-part-3\/#_Table5\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table37\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>: When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table39\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.<\/p>\n<p>And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the LORD.<\/p>\n<p>And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table49\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. \u00a0And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones <em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/06\/26\/jedidiah-part-1\/#_Table51\">Table<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a id=\"_mercy\"><\/a>I wonder now whether Achan and his sons and his daughters, after suffering the punishment of criminals, face an implacable Judge or a merciful Savior, not because of the merits of Achan\u2019s confession but because of the merits of that Savior: <em>But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn24\"><sup>[24]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Now standing beside Jesus\u2019 cross were his mother, his mother\u2019s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.\u00a0 So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, \u201cWoman, look, here is your son!\u201d\u00a0 He then said to his disciple, \u201cLook, here is your mother!\u201d\u00a0 From that very time the disciple took her into his own home<\/em>.<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn25\"><sup>[25]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Now from noon until three, darkness came over all the land.\u00a0 At about <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/05\/13\/forgiveness-and-my-religious-mind\/#_ftn4\">three<\/a> o\u2019clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice, \u201cEli, Eli, <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2012\/05\/13\/forgiveness-and-my-religious-mind\/#_ftn5\">lema<\/a> sabachthani?\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn26\"><sup>[26]<\/sup><\/a> <em>that is, \u201cMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn27\"><sup>[27]<\/sup><\/a> \u00a0After six hours on the cross Jesus lamented his loneliness even as He affirmed his confidence in the Scripture, written for his comfort (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org\/tehillim-psalms-chapter-22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Psalm 22:6-18<\/a>) for the very moment He prayed it (Psalm 22:1, 23, 24 Tanakh):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><em>When some of the bystanders heard it, they said, \u201cThis man is calling for Elijah.\u201d\u00a0 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge, filled it with sour wine, put it on a stick, and gave it to him to drink.\u00a0 But the rest said, \u201cLeave him alone!\u00a0 Let\u2019s see if Elijah will come to save him.\u201d<\/em><a completed, said (in order to fulfill the scripture<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org\/tehillim-psalms-chapter-22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Psalm 22:15<\/a>]<em>), \u201cI am thirsty!\u201d\u00a0 A jar full of sour wine was there, so they put a sponge soaked in sour wine on a branch of hyssop and lifted it to his mouth.\u00a0 When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, \u201cIt is completed!\u201d<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2017\/08\/23\/who-am-i-part-7\/#_ftn29\"><sup>[29]<\/sup><\/a><em>\u00a0 <\/em>David had already spoken for Jesus\u2019 failing breath
