tend to use the word <em>believers <\/em>for <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-concordance\/#_\u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1\">\u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1<\/a> primarily because the word <em>church <\/em>had become a not-for-profit corporation managed and operated by believers.\u00a0 It helps me study the Bible as if it pertains to me, rather than as a search for bylaws and provisions for the charter of a local not-for-profit corporation.\u00a0 But suddenly the line I wrote in another <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2018\/05\/14\/romans-part-90\/\">essay<\/a> jumped out at me\u2014\u201c<em>I kneel before the Father<\/em>, he wrote believers in Ephesus\u201d\u2014and caused me to wonder.<\/p>\n<p>Was I fooling myself?\u00a0 Did Paul really mean that individual believers <em>may be filled up to all the fullness of God<\/em>?\u00a0 Or did he mean the \u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1 corporately?\u00a0 If so, was that the \u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1 universally or locally?<\/p>\n<p>Paul\u2019s letter to the Ephesians<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2018\/05\/18\/believers\/#_ftn1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a> was addressed <em>to the saints<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/greekdoc.github.io\/lexicon\/agi.html#agios\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u1f01\u03b3\u03af\u03bf\u03b9\u03c2<\/a>, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-concordance\/#_\u1f05\u03b3\u03b9\u03bf\u03c2\">\u1f05\u03b3\u03b9\u03bf\u03c2<\/a>).<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2018\/05\/18\/believers\/#_ftn2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>\u00a0 These were individuals designated by two plural adjectives, <em>holy <\/em>and <em>faithful <\/em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/greekdoc.github.io\/lexicon\/pi.html#pistos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03bf\u1fd6\u03c2<\/a>, a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/greek-concordance\/#_\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03cc\u03c2\">\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u03cc\u03c2<\/a>) <em>in Jesus Christ<\/em>.\u00a0 But it was <em>through the<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/greekdoc.github.io\/lexicon\/ekk.html#ekklhsia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">singular<\/a> <em>church <\/em>(\u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1\u03c2,<a href=\"https:\/\/intelligent-torvalds.74-208-171-134.plesk.page\/2018\/05\/18\/believers\/#_ftn3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a> a form of \u1f10\u03ba\u03ba\u03bb\u03b7\u03c3\u03af\u03b1) that <em>the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms<\/em>.<a <em>faithfulness<\/em>) meant <em>Christ\u2019s <\/em>faith or faithfulness because <em>Christ Jesus our Lord<\/em> (\u03c4\u1ff7 \u03a7\u03c1\u03b9\u03c3\u03c4\u1ff7 \u1f38\u03b7\u03c3\u03bf\u1fe6 \u03c4\u1ff7 \u03ba\u03c5\u03c1\u03af\u1ff3 \u1f21\u03bc\u1ff6\u03bd) is the nearest antecedent.\u00a0 <em>But the fruit of the Spirit is<\/em>\u2026 \u03c0\u03af\u03c3\u03c4\u03b9\u03c2,<a led by the Spirit, the <a href=\"https:\/\/net.bible.org\/#!bible\/Romans+8:14\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">children<\/a> of God, the <em>holy <\/em>and <em>faithful
